1 ½ lbs salmon fillets, cut into bite-sized cubes

Salt & black pepper, to taste
½ tsp garlic powder
3 tbsp basil pesto
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for garnish)
