Description

These easy, no-bake Pecan Pie Balls are the perfect bite-sized treat packed with toasted pecans, sweet maple flavor, and a touch of chocolate. They’re great for holiday gatherings or a quick snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 2 cups pecans, toasted and finely chopped
  2. 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  3. 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  5. 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  6. 1/4 cup bourbon (or apple juice for a non-alcoholic option)
  7. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  8. 1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted (for dipping)

Instructions

  • Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, stir together the toasted pecans, graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and salt.
  • Add Wet Ingredients: Mix in the maple syrup, bourbon (or apple juice), and vanilla extract until the mixture is cohesive and sticks together when pressed.
  • Form the Balls: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Chill: Freeze the balls for 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Dip in Chocolate: Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, coating them partially or fully, depending on your preference.
  • Set the Chocolate: Place the dipped balls back onto the parchment paper and allow the chocolate to set.
  • Store: Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to enjoy.

Notes

  • You can use dark or white chocolate for dipping based on your taste preference.
  • For added texture, sprinkle extra chopped pecans or sea salt on the chocolate before it sets.
  • These can be made up to a week in advance and stored in the fridge.
