Description
A rich, fluffy peanut butter frosting perfect for cakes, cupcakes, and brownies, made with creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and a touch of vanilla.

- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup salted butter, softened (1 stick)
- 2 cups confectioners sugar (powdered sugar)
- 3 – 4 tablespoons milk or water
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- Cream the peanut butter and softened butter in a medium bowl using an electric mixer until smooth.
- Add the powdered sugar, 3 tablespoons of milk (or water), and the vanilla extract.
- Mix on low speed for 1 minute, then increase to medium speed and mix until the frosting is well combined and fluffy.
- If the frosting is too thick, add the remaining tablespoon of milk to thin it out to the desired consistency.
Notes
- Use milk for a creamier texture, or water for a slightly lighter version.
- Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week; bring to room temperature and re-whip before using.
- Perfect for chocolate or banana cakes and cupcakes.
