  2. 1 onion: halved and each half cut into quarters.
  3. ½ cup canola oil: for roasting.
  4. ½ cup olive oil: adds flavor and aids in crisping.
  5. 4 cloves garlic: chopped for extra aroma.
  6. 1 envelope onion soup mix: for a savory boost.
  7. 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary: chopped, or more to taste.
  8. 1 tablespoon black pepper: freshly ground.

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Set the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  • Mix Ingredients: In a roasting pan, combine the potatoes, onion, canola oil, olive oil, garlic, onion soup mix, rosemary, and black pepper. Stir until evenly coated.
