Description

This hearty one-pan meal combines savory kielbasa, tender potatoes, and green beans for a quick, budget-friendly dinner that’s ready in just 30 minutes! Perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  1. 1 tbsp unsalted butter

  2. 1 tbsp olive oil

  3. 1.2 lbs kielbasa (sliced)

  4. 1 onion (diced)

  5. 2 garlic cloves (minced)

  6. 1.7 lbs waxy potatoes (peeled, bite-sized)

  7. 2 cups chicken broth

  8. 9 oz green beans (trimmed, cut in half)

  9. 1 tsp dried dill

  10. ½ tsp sweet paprika

  11. ½ tsp black pepper

  12. ¼ tsp ground cumin


Instructions

  • Prepare Ingredients:

    • Peel and cut potatoes into bite-sized pieces.

    • Dice onion and mince garlic.

    • Trim and halve green beans.

    • Slice kielbasa into rounds.

  • Cook Kielbasa & Aromatics:

    • Heat butter and olive oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet.

    • Add kielbasa and cook until golden brown.

    • Add onion and garlic, sauté for 2 minutes, then remove from skillet.

  • Cook Potatoes & Green Beans:

    • Add potatoes, chicken broth, and green beans to the skillet.

    • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until potatoes are tender.

  • Season & Finish:

    • Stir in paprika, cumin, black pepper, and dill.

    • Return kielbasa to the skillet and cook for 2 more minutes.

 

  • Serve warm and enjoy!


Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of heavy cream to the broth at the end.

  • This dish can also be made with other types of sausage, like turkey kielbasa or smoked sausage.

 

  • If you like a little heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the seasonings.
