Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 1 (20-ounce) package frozen cheese ravioli
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
- Melt butter in the same skillet. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Add frozen ravioli to the skillet and cook according to package directions, about 5-7 minutes, or until tender.
- Return steak to the skillet. Stir in Parmesan cheese and parsley. Cook for another minute, until cheese is melted and sauce is slightly thickened.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley and Parmesan cheese, if desired.
Notes
- You can use any type of steak for this recipe, but sirloin works best for its tenderness and flavor.
- If you prefer a creamier sauce, you can stir in some heavy cream along with the beef broth.
- Make sure the ravioli is fully cooked to achieve the best texture and flavor.
