Ingredients

Scale
  1. 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

  2. 1 tsp dried basil

  3. 1 tsp dried oregano

  4. 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

  5. 1/2 tsp black pepper

  6. 1/2 tsp sea salt

  7. 1/2 tsp garlic powder (or 1 garlic clove, finely minced)

  8. 1/2 tsp onion powder

  9. 1 tsp balsamic vinegar (optional, for added depth)

  10. Fresh parsley or grated Parmesan (optional garnish)

  11. Sliced French bread or Italian baguette, warmed

Instructions

  • In a small bowl or dipping dish, combine olive oil, dried herbs, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and sea salt. Stir well.

  • Add a splash of balsamic vinegar for extra flavor, if desired.

  • Warm the sliced bread in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5–7 minutes until lightly crisp on the outside.

  • Serve the dip at room temperature, garnished with chopped parsley or Parmesan cheese.

  • Dip, savor, and enjoy immediately!

Notes

  • For extra depth of flavor, try adding freshly minced garlic instead of garlic powder.

  • This dip is best served with crusty bread such as French baguette or Italian bread.

  • You can also drizzle a little extra olive oil on the bread before serving for added richness.
