Description

  2. 100g unsalted butter, melted
  3. 200g marmalade
  4. 200g cream cheese
  5. 100g powdered sugar
  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  7. Chocolate shavings or nuts for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the crust: Crush the ginger snap cookies into fine crumbs.
  • In a bowl, combine the cookie crumbs with the melted butter, mixing until well combined.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the base of a lined baking pan.
  • Make the filling: In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and marmalade until smooth.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cookie base in the pan.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
  • Once set, cut into slices and top with chocolate shavings or nuts if desired.

Notes

  • If you prefer a more intense marmalade flavor, feel free to increase the marmalade by 50g.
  • This dessert can be made a day ahead for better results.
  • You can use any kind of marmalade (orange, lemon, etc.) depending on your preference.
