- 100g unsalted butter, melted
- 200g marmalade
- 200g cream cheese
- 100g powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Chocolate shavings or nuts for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: Crush the ginger snap cookies into fine crumbs.
- In a bowl, combine the cookie crumbs with the melted butter, mixing until well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the base of a lined baking pan.
- Make the filling: In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and marmalade until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cookie base in the pan.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
- Once set, cut into slices and top with chocolate shavings or nuts if desired.
Notes
- If you prefer a more intense marmalade flavor, feel free to increase the marmalade by 50g.
- This dessert can be made a day ahead for better results.
- You can use any kind of marmalade (orange, lemon, etc.) depending on your preference.
