- 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
- 2 cups white sugar
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup butter
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with waxed paper.
- In a large bowl, combine oats and coconut.
- In a medium saucepan, stir together sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and butter over medium heat until smooth. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the oats and coconut. Mix quickly to coat.
- Drop tablespoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Let the cookies cool and harden. Store in an airtight container.

- Allow the cookies to cool completely before storing to prevent them from sticking together.
