Description

This Mint Chocolate Chip Dip is a sweet and creamy treat that combines the classic minty freshness with rich chocolatey goodness. Perfect for parties, snacks, or a fun dessert, this dip is sure to please everyone!

  1. 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  2. ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  3. 1 cup powdered sugar
  4. ½ tsp vanilla extract
  5. 1 tsp peppermint extract
  6. 12 drops green food coloring (optional, for that classic minty hue)
  7. 1 cup whipped topping (or whipped heavy cream)
  8. ¾ cup mini chocolate chips
  9. ¼ cup chopped Andes mints or chocolate chunks (optional)

Instructions

  • Mix the base:

    • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
  • Add sweetness & flavor:

    • Mix in powdered sugar, vanilla, and peppermint extract. If using, add a drop or two of green food coloring for that minty look.
  • Fold in the fluff:

    • Gently fold in the whipped topping until light and fluffy.
  • Add the chocolate chips:

    • Stir in mini chocolate chips and chopped Andes mints (if using).

Notes

  • You can adjust the amount of peppermint extract based on how strong you like the mint flavor.
  • If you don’t have Andes mints, any chocolate chunks will work well, but the Andes mints add an extra layer of flavor.
  • This dip is great for dipping graham crackers, fruit, or even cookies!
