Description

This Cheesy Garlic Butter Mushroom Stuffed Chicken is packed with rich flavor from sautéed mushrooms, creamy cheese, and a golden Parmesan crust. Juicy, tender chicken breasts are stuffed to perfection and baked until irresistible. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or when you need an impressive dish that’s easy to make!


Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
3 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, for garnish


Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic for 1 minute.
Add mushrooms, thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper. Cook 5–7 minutes until mushrooms are browned and moisture is gone.
In a bowl, mix mushroom mixture with cream cheese and mozzarella until combined.
Slice a pocket into each chicken breast and stuff with cheese-mushroom filling.
Place stuffed chicken in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
Bake 25–30 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.


Notes

Secure with toothpicks if needed to keep the stuffing inside. Serve with mashed cauliflower, roasted veggies, or a fresh green salad. Leftovers reheat well in the oven or microwave.
