Description

This Garlic Herb Sourdough Bread Stuffed with Brie & Cranberry is the ultimate holiday appetizer—crispy, cheesy, savory, and sweet all in one irresistible pull-apart loaf. Perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any cozy gathering!


Ingredients

  1. 2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
    1 tbsp fresh thyme, finely chopped
    1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
    ½ cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)
    Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
    1 large round sourdough loaf
    8 oz Brie cheese, sliced
    3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Slice the sourdough loaf in a crosshatch pattern, cutting almost to the base but not all the way through.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Stuff Brie slices into the bread crevices, followed by spooning in the cranberry sauce.
Drizzle the herb butter evenly over the loaf, letting it soak in.
Wrap loaf in foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.


Notes

For a flavor twist, try swapping cranberry sauce with fig jam or using camembert instead of brie. Best enjoyed fresh out of the oven!
