 - 1 lb ground turkey or chicken (substitute for pork sausage)
 - 1 cup chopped turkey or beef pepperoni
 - ¼ cup all-purpose flour
 - 4 tsp Italian seasoning, divided
 - 1 (26-oz) jar tomato basil pasta sauce
 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
 - 1 (13.8-oz) can refrigerated pizza crust dough
 - 1 Tbsp olive oil
 - 3 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
 
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
 - Cook the meats: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and ground turkey (or chicken) over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
 - Add pepperoni and seasoning: Stir in the turkey (or beef) pepperoni, 2 tsp of Italian seasoning, and flour. Cook for 1 minute.
 - Simmer the sauce: Add the pasta sauce and simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine.
 - Prepare the crust: Roll out the pizza crust dough and place it in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with the remaining Italian seasoning.
 - Add the meat sauce: Pour the meat sauce mixture over the crust and spread evenly. Top with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
 - Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
