Description

Meat Lovers Pizza Casserole combines the delicious flavors of pizza with the comforting goodness of pasta. Featuring ground beef, Italian sausage, pepperoni, bacon, and plenty of cheese, it’s the perfect dish for meat lovers!


Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ lb Italian sausage
  • ½ cup pepperoni slices
  • ½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 cups pizza sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup black olives (optional)
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat until fully browned. Drain excess grease. Stir in garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and pizza sauce.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer half of the cooked pasta, half the meat mixture, and half the pepperoni and bacon. Sprinkle with half the mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  4. Repeat the layers, finishing with cheese on top.
  5. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with black olives and red pepper flakes if desired. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • If you prefer a spicier dish, feel free to add extra red pepper flakes or hot sauce.
  • Black olives are optional, but they add a nice briny flavor to balance the richness of the meat and cheese.
  • This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days before baking.
