Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 2 cups lemon pie filling (store-bought or homemade)
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Lemon slices (for garnish)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form an even crust.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated. Spread this mixture over the graham cracker crust evenly.
  4. Pour the lemon pie filling over the cream cheese layer and spread it out evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature.
  6. Refrigerate the lemon cream pie bars for at least 2 hours to set. Cut into squares, top with whipped cream, lemon slices, and a dusting of powdered sugar. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make sure to refrigerate for at least 2 hours to ensure the bars set properly.
  • These bars can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • If you prefer a more tart flavor, you can use homemade lemon curd instead of store-bought pie filling.
