Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 2 cups lemon pie filling (store-bought or homemade)
- Whipped cream (for topping)
- Lemon slices (for garnish)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form an even crust.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated. Spread this mixture over the graham cracker crust evenly.
- Pour the lemon pie filling over the cream cheese layer and spread it out evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate the lemon cream pie bars for at least 2 hours to set. Cut into squares, top with whipped cream, lemon slices, and a dusting of powdered sugar. Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
- Make sure to refrigerate for at least 2 hours to ensure the bars set properly.
- These bars can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- If you prefer a more tart flavor, you can use homemade lemon curd instead of store-bought pie filling.
