Instructions
- In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, lime zest, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, beat the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
- In a small bowl, mix the crushed graham crackers with melted butter until combined.
- To assemble the trifle, layer the graham cracker mixture in the bottom of a large glass bowl or individual trifle cups.
- Spoon a layer of the lime cream mixture over the graham crackers, smoothing it out with a spatula.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of the lime cream mixture on top.
- Top with fresh whipped cream, lime slices, and extra lime zest.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
