Description

These Keto Philly Cheesesteak Roll Ups are the perfect low-carb treat for anyone craving a savory, cheesy bite. Ground beef, bell peppers, onions, and creamy cheese are wrapped in golden Monterey Jack cheese for a delicious, satisfying snack or meal. A great keto-friendly option for Philly cheesesteak lovers

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 2 cups Monterey Jack cheese (shredded)

  2. 16 ounces ground beef

  3. 1/2 medium onion (sliced)

  4. 1 bell pepper (sliced)

  5. 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  6. 4 ounces cream cheese

  7. Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Cook the Beef and Veggies:
In a skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the ground beef, onion, and bell pepper until the vegetables are soft and the beef is browned. Drain any excess grease.

  • Add the Cheese and Seasoning:
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, cream cheese, salt, and pepper to taste. Continue cooking until the cream cheese has melted and everything is well combined.

  • Bake the Cheese Circles:
On a parchment-lined large baking sheet, place 8 even circles of shredded Monterey Jack cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, until the edges begin to brown and the cheese takes on a lace-like appearance.

  • Assemble the Roll Ups:
Let the cheese cool for a minute or two. While the cheese is still pliable, place a layer of the beef and veggie mixture on each cheese circle. Carefully roll the cheese around the filling and allow the roll ups to cool and harden before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure the cheese circles are spaced far enough apart so they don’t stick together while baking.

  • These roll-ups are perfect as a keto snack or as a part of a low-carb meal.

  • If you want a bit more flavor, you can add a dash of garlic powder or red pepper flakes to the filling.

  • You can store any leftover roll-ups in the refrigerator for a couple of days and reheat them in the oven or microwave.
