Description

Juicy, tender steaks seared to perfection and topped with a rich, creamy garlic sauce—this recipe is a true indulgence! The savory garlic cream pairs beautifully with the perfectly cooked steak. A must-try for steak lovers!

Ingredients

Scale
    1. 4 beef steaks (sirloin or ribeye)
    2. 2 tablespoons olive oil
    3. 2 tablespoons butter
    4. Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

    1. 3 garlic cloves, minced
    2. 1 cup heavy cream
    3. 1/4 cup beef or chicken stock
    4. 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
    5. 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
    6. Salt and pepper to taste
    7. Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the steaks: Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steaks with salt and pepper.
  • Sear the steaks: Cook steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust to your preferred doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside to rest.
  • Prepare the sauce: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Make the creamy sauce: Lower the heat and pour in heavy cream and stock. Stir in Dijon mustard, thyme, salt, and pepper. Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Combine steaks and sauce: Return the steaks to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Let them warm for 1-2 minutes.
  • Serve: Serve the steaks topped with the creamy garlic sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • You can adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding more or less stock.
  • Serve with a side of mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
  • For a lighter option, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
