- ¼ cup sour cream

- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- 2 tablespoons adobo paste
- Chipotle peppers to taste, pureed
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix tuna, mayonnaise, lemon juice, diced red onion, black pepper, salt, jalapeños, yellow mustard, and chopped cilantro until well combined.
- Toast sourdough slices lightly. Spread pesto on one side of each slice.
- Layer tuna mixture, sliced tomatoes, and sliced avocado on the bread. Add hot sauce to taste.
- For chipotle aioli, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice, honey, black pepper, chili powder, adobo paste, and pureed chipotle peppers until smooth.
- Spread chipotle aioli on the sandwich if using. Assemble and serve immediately.
