Description

This Jalapeno Mayo is creamy, tangy, and has the perfect touch of spice, making it the ultimate condiment for dipping wings, spreading on burgers, or adding to sandwiches. With just 6 ingredients and 10 minutes of prep time, it’s quick and easy to make!


Ingredients

  1. ½ cup mayonnaise (good quality store-bought or homemade)

  2. 2 tablespoons sour cream (or more mayo, see notes)

  3. 2 jalapeno peppers (see notes)

  4. 1 clove garlic, minced

  5. 12 teaspoons lime juice

  6. ½ teaspoon dried oregano

  7. Pinch of salt


Instructions

  • Prepare Jalapenos: Deseed and remove the ribs from the jalapenos, then roughly dice. Keep the seeds if you want to increase the heat later.

  • Blend: Place the diced jalapenos into a mini food processor and blend finely. If you don’t have a processor, you can finely mince them using a knife and chopping board.

  • Combine: Add the lime juice, mayonnaise, sour cream, oregano, and salt to the food processor. Process to combine until smooth.

 

  • Taste and Adjust: Taste the mayo and adjust if needed—add more lime juice for tang, salt for flavor, or some of the jalapeno seeds if you want more heat.


Notes

  • If you prefer a milder mayo, you can omit the jalapeno seeds.

 

  • Feel free to adjust the amount of lime juice and sour cream based on your taste preferences.
