A warm, creamy, cheesy dip bursting with sweet caramelized onion flavor—perfect for parties, game days, or a cozy night in!
Ingredients

- 2 cups sweet onions, finely chopped (Vidalia or yellow onions work best)
 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
 - 1 cup mayonnaise
 - 1 cup shredded Swiss or Gruyère cheese
 - ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
 - ½ teaspoon black pepper
 - ¼ teaspoon salt
 - 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional, for a kick)
 - 1 tablespoon butter (for sautéing onions)
 
 
Optional Toppings:
- 
- ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs (for crunch)
 - Extra shredded cheese for the top
 - Chopped chives or parsley for garnish
 
 
Instructions
- Preheat Oven
Set oven to 375°F (190°C). - Sauté the Onions
In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and cook chopped onions until soft and golden brown (8-10 minutes). Stir in Worcestershire sauce and let cool slightly. - Mix the Dip
In a bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, Swiss cheese, Parmesan, garlic powder, pepper, salt, and hot sauce. Fold in the sautéed onions and mix until smooth. - Assemble & Bake
Spread the mixture into a greased 8×8-inch baking dish or oven-safe skillet. Sprinkle with extra cheese and panko breadcrumbs if using. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top. - Serve & Enjoy!
Garnish with chopped chives or parsley. Serve warm with crackers, crostini, pita chips, or fresh veggies. 
Notes
If you’d like a more crispy top, broil the dip for the last 2-3 minutes of baking.
