Description
Moist, rich, fudgy, and utterly indulgent, this brownie bread is a chocolate lover’s dream with swirls of hot fudge throughout.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box (18.4 oz) fudge brownie mix
- 3 large eggs
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- ¼ cup water
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup hot fudge sauce (plus extra for topping)
- ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, oil, and water. Stir until just blended.
- Fold in the flour and baking powder, mixing until smooth.
- Add the sour cream and stir gently for extra moistness.
- Swirl in the hot fudge sauce (½ cup) and chocolate chips if using. Don’t overmix — leave ribbons of fudge throughout.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Smooth the top and drizzle extra hot fudge over the surface if desired.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean (a little gooey is okay — it’s brownie bread!).
- Let it cool completely before slicing. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the ultimate indulgence.
Notes
- For an extra decadent treat, drizzle additional hot fudge sauce over the bread before serving.
- If you want a more intense chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet.
- Be careful not to overmix the batter after adding the hot fudge to keep the beautiful swirls intact.
