Description

Moist, rich, fudgy, and utterly indulgent, this brownie bread is a chocolate lover’s dream with swirls of hot fudge throughout.


Ingredients

  • 1 box (18.4 oz) fudge brownie mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup hot fudge sauce (plus extra for topping)
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, oil, and water. Stir until just blended.
  3. Fold in the flour and baking powder, mixing until smooth.
  4. Add the sour cream and stir gently for extra moistness.
  5. Swirl in the hot fudge sauce (½ cup) and chocolate chips if using. Don’t overmix — leave ribbons of fudge throughout.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Smooth the top and drizzle extra hot fudge over the surface if desired.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean (a little gooey is okay — it’s brownie bread!).
  8. Let it cool completely before slicing. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the ultimate indulgence.

Notes

  • For an extra decadent treat, drizzle additional hot fudge sauce over the bread before serving.
  • If you want a more intense chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet.
  • Be careful not to overmix the batter after adding the hot fudge to keep the beautiful swirls intact.
