Description

Homemade egg noodles made with just five simple ingredients, perfect for soups or as a side dish. Easy to make and customizable!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 egg
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 3 Tbsp cold water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups flour

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients (cold water, salt, and flour) and knead until smooth.
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8″ thickness.
  4. Cut the dough into strips using a pizza cutter or your preferred method.
  5. Store the noodles in the fridge for 2-3 days or in the freezer for 1-2 months.
  6. To cook, boil the noodles for 7-9 minutes until tender. Serve as desired, particularly great in chicken soup!

Notes

  • If you want thicker noodles, simply cut the strips a little wider.
  • For best results, use the noodles fresh or freeze them for longer storage.
  • These noodles work well in soups, casseroles, or as a simple pasta dish with your favorite sauce.
