Ingredients
Scale
1 cup dill pickle juice – the briny base for these pickle-flavored gummies
1/4 cup water – to dilute the pickle juice
3 tablespoons unflavored gelatin – gives the gummies their chewy texture
1 tablespoon honey or sugar – optional, for a slight sweetness
Green food coloring – optional, to add a fun color
Silicone gummy worm mold – to shape the gummies into fun worms
Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine the dill pickle juice and water. Heat over low heat until warm but not boiling.
Gradually whisk in the unflavored gelatin, one tablespoon at a time, until completely dissolved.
Stir in honey or sugar and a few drops of green food coloring (if using) for added sweetness and visual appeal.
Remove the mixture from heat and allow it to cool slightly.
Carefully pour or spoon the mixture into the silicone gummy worm mold, filling each cavity completely.
Place the mold in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours or until the gummy worms are fully set.
Once firm, remove the gummy worms from the mold and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
You can adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding more or less honey/sugar.
These gummies can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
For an extra tangy twist, you can add more dill pickle juice.
