This easy and comforting homemade chicken noodle soup is the perfect dish for a cold day. With tender chicken, flavorful broth, and hearty egg noodles, this simple recipe is made with just a few ingredients and is sure to warm you up!

  1. 2 frozen chicken breasts
  2. 8 cups chicken broth
  3. 1 family-size can of cream of chicken soup
  4. 1 stick of butter
  5. Poultry seasoning, to taste
  6. Onion powder, to taste
  7. Salt, to taste
  8. Pepper, to taste
  9. 1 bag of dry egg noodles

Instructions

  • Place the frozen chicken breasts, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, butter, poultry seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper into the slow cooker.
  • Set the cooker to high heat and cook for 4 hours.
  • After the cooking time, shred the chicken with two forks.
  • Add the dry egg noodles into the slow cooker.
  • Cook the noodles for about 30 minutes to 1 hour until they are tender and fully cooked.
  • If desired, add more chicken broth to adjust the soup’s consistency to your preference.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
