This homemade bouillon powder is a great alternative to store-bought cubes and granules. With nutritional yeast, herbs, and spices, it adds delicious flavor to soups, stews, and more

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
  2. 2 tablespoons onion powder
  3. 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  4. 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  5. 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  6. 1 tablespoon dried sage
  7. 1 tablespoon dried marjoram
  8. 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  9. 1 tablespoon dried basil
  10. 1 tablespoon celery seed
  11. 1 tablespoon salt
  12. 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  13. 1 tablespoon turmeric powder

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender or food processor.
  • Blend or process until the mixture turns into a fine, uniform powder.
  • Transfer the bouillon powder into an airtight container and store it in a cool, dry place.

 

  • To use, dissolve 1 tablespoon of the bouillon powder in 1 cup of hot water, or add it to soups, stews, and other dishes for flavor.
