Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 4 drops hot sauce (e.g., Tabasco)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Mix the Ingredients: In a small saucepan, combine ketchup, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, hot sauce, salt, ground pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  • Cook the Sauce: Stir the mixture thoroughly and heat over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
  • Simmer and Blend Flavors: Let the sauce simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Cool and Store: Remove from heat and let the sauce cool completely. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use.

Notes

  • Adjust the heat level by adding more or less hot sauce and cayenne pepper according to your taste preference.
  • This sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
