- 1/2 cup bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup carrots, julienned
- 1/2 cup snap peas or broccoli florets
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, mix sliced beef, soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Let sit for 10-15 minutes while prepping other ingredients.
- Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sriracha (if using), garlic, ginger, and water. Set aside.
- Cook the Noodles: Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Stir-Fry the Beef: Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Stir-Fry the Veggies: In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed and stir-fry bell peppers, carrots, and snap peas for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
- Combine Everything: Return the beef to the pan. Pour in the sauce and stir to coat everything. Add cooked noodles, tossing to combine and heat through (about 1-2 minutes).
- Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy this takeout-style meal at home!
Notes
- For added spice, increase the amount of sriracha or chili flakes.
