Description

This creamy, tangy ranch dressing is made healthier with Greek yogurt and light mayo! Perfect as a dip, salad dressing, or veggie accompaniment, this homemade ranch is a quick and easy way to enjoy all the flavor without the added calories.


Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  2. 1/2 cup light mayonnaise (or use all Greek yogurt for a lighter option)
  3. 1 tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar
  4. 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  5. 1 teaspoon onion powder
  6. 1 teaspoon dried dill (or fresh if available)
  7. 1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  8. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  9. 23 tablespoons water (to thin, as needed)

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, mayonnaise (if using), lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, salt, and pepper.
  • Add water, a tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  • Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

 

  • Serve with your favorite veggies, salads, or as a dip!

Notes

  • You can substitute all Greek yogurt instead of using mayonnaise for an even lighter version.
  • Add more or less water to achieve your preferred consistency—less water for a thicker dip, more water for a pourable dressing.
  • For a zesty kick, consider adding a small amount of hot sauce or cayenne pepper.

 

  • Make this ahead of time for a more flavorful dressing!
