Description

These Healthy Banana Oat Cookies are naturally sweetened with ripe bananas and applesauce—no sugar, no flour! Packed with oats, dark chocolate, and cinnamon, they’re a wholesome snack or breakfast treat everyone will love.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ cup raisins or chopped nuts
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chunks (recommended: Lily’s no-sugar-added)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas and applesauce. Stir in oats, almond milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  3. Fold in raisins or nuts and dark chocolate chunks until evenly distributed.
  4. Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, flattening slightly with the back of the spoon.
  5. Bake for 13–15 minutes, or until cookies are set and lightly golden on the edges.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or up to 1 week refrigerated.
  • For extra crunch, toast the oats lightly before mixing.
