- 2 lbs 80/20 ground beef
- 12-pack Hawaiian rolls
- 11 slices Colby Jack or American cheese
- 1 large sweet onion, diced
- 24 dill pickles
- 6 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cracked black pepper

- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1½ tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 2 tsp pickle juice
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper

- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté diced onions until caramelized. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, season ground beef with salt and cracked black pepper. Form into 12 small patties sized to fit the Hawaiian rolls.
- Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves connected if possible.
- In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, and cayenne pepper to make the burger sauce.
- Spread burger sauce evenly on both the top and bottom halves of the rolls.
- Layer the bottom half with cooked patties, caramelized onions, cheese slices (tear if needed to fit), and dill pickles.
- Top with the other half of the rolls and brush generously with melted butter.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and rolls are warmed through.
- Slice into individual sliders and serve hot.
