Ingredients

Scale

Sliders

  • 2 lbs 80/20 ground beef
  • 12-pack Hawaiian rolls
  • 11 slices Colby Jack or American cheese
  • 1 large sweet onion, diced
  • 24 dill pickles
  • 6 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper

Easy Burger Sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1½ tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tsp pickle juice
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté diced onions until caramelized. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, season ground beef with salt and cracked black pepper. Form into 12 small patties sized to fit the Hawaiian rolls.
  4. Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
  5. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves connected if possible.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, and cayenne pepper to make the burger sauce.
  7. Spread burger sauce evenly on both the top and bottom halves of the rolls.
  8. Layer the bottom half with cooked patties, caramelized onions, cheese slices (tear if needed to fit), and dill pickles.
  9. Top with the other half of the rolls and brush generously with melted butter.
  10. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and rolls are warmed through.
  11. Slice into individual sliders and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can prep the patties, sauce, and onions ahead of time for quick assembly.
  • Try adding jalapeños or bacon for extra flavor and crunch.
  • Use parchment paper under the sliders for easy cleanup.
  • Substitute Colby Jack with cheddar, Swiss, or your favorite cheese.
