Crispy, golden, and full of flavor, these Golden Crispy Cauliflower Bites are the perfect appetizer or snack! Coated in panko breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, and a hint of Creole spice, they’re fried to perfection and served warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 1 large cauliflower, chopped into bite-sized pieces
  2. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (use gluten-free if needed)
  3. 2 eggs, beaten
  4. 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (substitute gluten-free if necessary)
  5. 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  6. 1 tablespoon Creole spice mix
  7. Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan to medium-high (about 350°F).
  • Prepare the cauliflower by dredging the pieces in flour, then dipping them in the beaten eggs.
  • Coat the florets with a mixture of panko breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, and Creole seasoning.
  • Fry the coated cauliflower in batches until they turn golden brown, around 2-3 minutes per batch.
  • Transfer the cooked pieces to paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a healthier version, try baking the cauliflower bites instead of frying. Simply place them on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • You can customize the spices by adjusting the Creole seasoning to suit your taste.
