Description
Crispy, golden, and full of flavor, these Golden Crispy Cauliflower Bites are the perfect appetizer or snack! Coated in panko breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, and a hint of Creole spice, they’re fried to perfection and served warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large cauliflower, chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (use gluten-free if needed)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (substitute gluten-free if necessary)
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Creole spice mix
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan to medium-high (about 350°F).
- Prepare the cauliflower by dredging the pieces in flour, then dipping them in the beaten eggs.
- Coat the florets with a mixture of panko breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, and Creole seasoning.
- Fry the coated cauliflower in batches until they turn golden brown, around 2-3 minutes per batch.
- Transfer the cooked pieces to paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
Notes
- For a healthier version, try baking the cauliflower bites instead of frying. Simply place them on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- You can customize the spices by adjusting the Creole seasoning to suit your taste.
