Description

These Turkey and Cranberry Sausage Rolls are a festive twist on a classic snack, combining juicy seasoned turkey mince with sweet cranberry sauce, all wrapped in golden, flaky puff pastry. Perfect for holiday gatherings or cozy nights in.


Ingredients

  • 500g turkey mince
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 375g ready-rolled puff pastry
  • 130g cranberry sauce
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • Spray oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix turkey mince, garlic powder, thyme, sea salt, and black pepper until combined.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into rectangles.
  4. Spread cranberry sauce down the center of each pastry piece.
  5. Place turkey mixture on top of cranberry sauce and shape into a log.
  6. Roll the pastry over the filling and seal the edges using a little milk.
  7. Brush the tops with milk and spray lightly with oil.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can use store-bought or homemade cranberry sauce.
  • Try adding a bit of grated cheese to the filling for extra flavor.
  • These rolls can be prepped in advance and baked when ready to serve.
  • Best served warm but can be enjoyed cold as well.
