Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sea bass fillet, cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Marinate the sea bass pieces with a pinch of salt and pepper for 15 minutes.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sea bass pieces and fry until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté the ginger and garlic for 30 seconds.
  • Add the chopped green onions and cook for another 30 seconds.
  • Return the fried sea bass pieces to the skillet.
  • Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Toss until the fish is evenly coated.
  • Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
  • Serve hot with steamed rice.

Notes

  • For a healthier option, use less oil and pan-sear the sea bass instead of frying.
  • Adjust the amount of ginger and garlic to suit your taste preference.
  • You can substitute sea bass with other white fish like cod or tilapia
