Ingredients

Scale
  1. 1 pound pizza dough – Homemade or store-bought for convenience.
  2. 1 cup marinara sauce – For a flavorful base.
  3. 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese – For gooey, cheesy perfection.
  4. ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese – Divided; adds savory depth.
  5. 2 cloves garlic, minced – Enhances the garlic butter topping.
  6. 2 tablespoons butter, melted – For the buttery garlic topping.
  7. 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning – Adds a blend of herbs.
  8. 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped – For garnish.

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Dough

Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 12×16 inches. Spread the marinara sauce evenly across the surface, leaving a small border around the edges.

Step 2: Add Cheese

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and half of the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the marinara sauce.

Step 3: Roll and Slice

Carefully roll the dough tightly into a log, similar to a cinnamon roll. Slice the log into 1-inch rolls and place them in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 4: Make the Garlic Butter Topping

In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and the remaining Parmesan cheese. Brush this mixture generously over the top of the pizza rolls.

Step 5: Bake

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden and bubbly.

Step 6: Garnish and Serve

Once baked, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley for a touch of color and serve warm. Enjoy the cheesy, garlicky goodness!

Notes

  • Serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
  • For a spicy kick, sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes over the rolls before baking.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for the best texture.
