Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp (28g) butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup (120ml) beef broth
- 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
- 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Steak Bites:
Season steak bites generously with salt and pepper. - Sear the Steak:
Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites and cook for 3-4 minutes, until browned. Remove the steak bites and set them aside. - Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds. - Simmer the Sauce:
Pour in the beef broth, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet. Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens. - Combine and Garnish:
Return the steak bites to the skillet and coat them in the creamy Parmesan sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley. - Serve:
Pair with pasta, rice, or crusty bread, and enjoy!
Notes
- Substitute chicken broth for a lighter sauce.
- For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Works great with other proteins like chicken or shrimp.
