Ingredients

Scale
  1. 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  2. Salt and pepper, to taste
  3. 2 tbsp (28g) butter
  4. 5 cloves garlic, minced
  5. 1/2 cup (120ml) beef broth
  6. 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
  7. 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
  8. Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Steak Bites:
Season steak bites generously with salt and pepper.
  • Sear the Steak:
Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites and cook for 3-4 minutes, until browned. Remove the steak bites and set them aside.
  • Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Simmer the Sauce:
Pour in the beef broth, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet. Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  • Combine and Garnish:
Return the steak bites to the skillet and coat them in the creamy Parmesan sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley.
  • Serve:
Pair with pasta, rice, or crusty bread, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Substitute chicken broth for a lighter sauce.
  • For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • Works great with other proteins like chicken or shrimp.
