A bold and creamy pasta dish topped with tender garlic butter steak bites and tossed in a smoky chipotle cream cheese sauce for a spicy, satisfying meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1½ lbs sirloin, cubed
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
- 8 oz pasta (shells or penne)
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1–2 chipotle peppers in adobo, finely chopped
- ½ cup milk or cream
- ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar or pepper jack)
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add sirloin cubes, season with salt and pepper, and sear until browned on all sides.
- Lower the heat, add butter and minced garlic. Baste the steak bites with the garlic butter for 1–2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt cream cheese with milk or cream until smooth.
- Stir in the chopped chipotle peppers and shredded cheese. Mix until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
- Serve pasta in bowls, top with steak bites, and garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
- Adjust chipotle quantity based on your spice preference.
- Sirloin can be substituted with ribeye or NY strip for a richer flavor.
- For a lighter sauce, use reduced-fat cream cheese and milk.
