This Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi Lasagna combines creamy, rich flavors with perfectly sautéed shrimp and a cheesy, comforting lasagna. It’s a luxurious twist on a classic dish, perfect for seafood lovers!

Ingredients

  1. Lasagna Noodles: Cooked al dente
  2. Shrimp: Peeled and deveined
  3. Garlic: Minced
  4. Butter: For sautéing and adding richness
  5. Flour: To help thicken the sauce
  6. Milk: For the creamy sauce base
  7. Cream: For the creamy sauce base
  8. Cheese: A mix of mozzarella and Parmesan, for layering and topping
  9. Herbs: Such as parsley or basil, for additional flavor and garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Shrimp: Sauté shrimp in butter with minced garlic until just pink. Set aside.
  • Make the Sauce: In the same pan, add flour to the remaining butter and garlic to create a roux. Gradually whisk in milk and cream until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Assemble the Lasagna: In a baking dish, layer lasagna noodles, the creamy sauce, shrimp, and cheeses. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a top layer of cheese.
  • Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until the lasagna is bubbly and golden on top.

  • Serve: Let the lasagna cool slightly before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil and serve.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce for a little heat.
  • Make sure the lasagna noodles are cooked al dente, as they will continue to cook while baking.

  • This dish pairs wonderfully with a light salad or steamed vegetables.
