- 1 ½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the Chicken: In a large bowl, add the bite-sized chicken pieces. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Toss well to coat all the chicken evenly.
- Sear the Chicken: Heat the olive oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet. Add the chicken pieces in a single layer. Sear for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Make the Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the unsalted butter. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Coat with Parmesan: Return the cooked chicken bites to the skillet. Toss them in the garlic butter, ensuring they are fully coated. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the chicken. Stir and cook for another 1–2 minutes until the Parmesan melts and creates a flavorful crust.

- The chicken can be served over pasta, rice, or alongside roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
- Add fresh basil as an optional garnish for a burst of flavor.
- If you prefer a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter for extra heat.
