Description
A rich, buttery, and elegant seafood dish perfect for any special occasion. Tender lobster tails baked with a flavorful garlic butter sauce and optional Parmesan cheese for an extra touch of richness.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 lobster tails
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra richness)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Use kitchen scissors to cut down the top of the lobster shell, stopping at the tail. Gently pull the meat out and rest it on top of the shell while keeping it attached at the base.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper to make the garlic butter sauce.
- Place lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush generously with the garlic butter sauce.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the lobster meat is opaque and tender.
- Optional: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the lobster and broil for 2 minutes for a golden finish.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges and extra melted butter.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add Parmesan cheese after baking and broil for a few minutes for a golden crust.
- Adjust the garlic and paprika to suit your personal taste preferences.
- Serve with a side of vegetables or over a bed of pasta for a full meal.
- Make sure not to overcook the lobster tails, as they can become rubbery.
