  3. 2 cans (10.5 oz each) beef consommé
  4. 2 cans (10.5 oz each) French onion soup
  5. ¾ cup (180ml) water
  6. 2 cups long-grain white rice, uncooked

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Cook Ground Beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef with garlic salt over medium heat until browned, breaking it into crumbles. Drain excess fat if needed.

  • Mix Ingredients: Pour beef consommé, French onion soup, and water over the beef and rice. Gently stir to combine.
  • Top with Butter: Arrange sliced butter evenly across the top of the mixture.
  • Bake Covered: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Bake Uncovered: Remove foil and bake for another 30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  • Fluff and Serve: Use a fork to fluff the rice and combine the flavors before serving.

Notes

  • Sprinkle grated cheese on top during the last 10 minutes of baking for an extra cheesy twist.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color.
