Description

A fiery fusion of Indo-Chinese flavors and Italian comfort, this Schezwan Paneer Pizza is loaded with spicy marinated paneer, colorful veggies, gooey mozzarella, and a bold Schezwan-garlic base that’ll make your taste buds dance!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 store-bought or homemade pizza bases
  • 200 g paneer, cubed
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • ½ cup sweet corn (optional)
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tbsp Calabrian chilies (optional)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup Schezwan sauce (add more for extra spice)
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh cilantro or spring onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine cubed paneer, diced onion, bell peppers, sweet corn (if using), Calabrian chilies, garlic powder, red chili flakes, black pepper, and salt. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Remove from heat.
  3. Spread garlic butter evenly over the pizza bases.
  4. In a small bowl, mix Schezwan sauce, soy sauce, and honey. Spread this sauce mixture evenly on top of the garlic butter on each pizza base.
  5. Top each pizza with the prepared paneer and veggie mix. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously over the toppings.
  6. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place pizzas on a baking tray and bake for 10–12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from oven and garnish with chopped cilantro or spring onions. Slice and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can use naan or flatbread as a quick alternative to pizza bases.
  • Adjust the amount of Schezwan sauce to suit your spice preference.
  • Swap paneer with tofu for a vegan version and use plant-based cheese.
  • Calabrian chilies add depth but can be skipped for a milder flavor.
