Description

Make restaurant-quality stir fry right at home with this easy homemade stir fry sauce! Perfect for vegetables, noodles, meat, or seafood. A versatile, flavorful sauce that’s ready in just a few minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, cornstarch, and water.
  • Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes or until it thickens to your desired consistency.
  • Remove from heat and mix with your favorite stir fry vegetables, noodles, meat, or seafood.
  • Alternatively, allow the sauce to cool and store it in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • Use 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup per pan of stir fry (for 3-4 servings).
  • This sauce can be made in advance and stored for up to a week in the refrigerator.
