These Easy Slow Cooker Cracker Barrel Fried Apples are a perfect blend of sweet, tart, and spiced flavors! Made with simple ingredients like tart apples, cinnamon, and brown sugar, they’re cooked to perfection in a slow cooker.   1. 6 large tart apples, peeled, cored, and sliced

  2. 1 cup granulated sugar

  3. 1/2 cup brown sugar

  4. 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

  5. 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  6. 1/2 cup butter, cut into small pieces

Instructions

  • Place the sliced apples in the bowl of the slow cooker.

  • In a small bowl, mix together granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Sprinkle this sugar mixture over the apples in the slow cooker and toss to coat.
