Description
Crunchy, sweet, and oh-so-simple—these no-bake treats are a classic favorite! Perfect for a quick snack or dessert, they’re made with creamy peanut butter and rich butterscotch chips.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup smooth peanut butter
- 11 oz butterscotch chips
- 4 cups chow mein noodles
- 1 cup roasted peanuts (optional)
Instructions
- Melt: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine peanut butter and butterscotch chips. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and creamy.
- Mix: Gently fold in the chow mein noodles (and peanuts, if using) until evenly coated.
- Drop: Scoop spoonfuls onto a sheet of wax paper. Let them cool and set completely.
Notes
- For a fun twist, you can add mini chocolate chips or sprinkle sea salt on top before they set.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or refrigerate for longer shelf life.
- If you prefer a crunchier texture, use unsalted roasted peanuts instead of regular peanuts.
