Description

  • 85 grams honey or maple syrup (about ⅓ cup)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 200 grams high-quality dark or milk chocolate (about 7 ounces)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.
  3. Add cold cubed butter and cut it into the flour until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in honey (or maple syrup) and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add milk, starting with 300 grams, mixing until dough comes together. Add more milk if needed.
  6. Fold in chopped chocolate.
  7. Scoop dough onto the baking sheet and flatten slightly.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until edges are golden.
  9. Cool before serving.
