This cheesy and flavorful Dorito Casserole is the perfect comfort food! Made with ground beef, sour cream, taco seasoning, and a crunchy Dorito topping, it’s a delicious and easy-to-make meal your whole family will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 1 party-sized bag Doritos (crushed)
  2. 2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese
  3. 1 lb ground beef
  4. 1 can cream of chicken soup
  5. 1 can Rotel tomatoes
  6. 8 oz sour cream
  7. 1 package taco seasoning
  8. 1 (13.5 oz) can black beans (rinsed and drained)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until no pink remains. Drain the fat.
  • Stir in the taco seasoning and simmer for a few minutes until the mixture thickens.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, Rotel tomatoes, sour cream, black beans, and half of the shredded cheese.
  • Layer the casserole: Spread a layer of crushed Doritos at the bottom of the casserole dish.
  • Add half of the beef mixture on top of the Doritos layer.
  • Add another layer of crushed Doritos, followed by the remaining beef mixture.
  • Top with the remaining crushed Doritos and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 35 minutes, or until bubbly and hot.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the casserole by adding more toppings like sliced jalapeños, olives, or green onions.
  • You can use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef for a lighter version.
  • To make the casserole extra cheesy, add more cheese on top before baking.
  • If you prefer, use tortilla chips instead of Doritos for a different twist.
