Ingredients
- 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
- ½ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- ½ lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions

Cook the Sausage:
In a large skillet over medium heat, add sliced sausage. Cook for 4-5 minutes until browned and crispy. Remove from skillet and set aside. -
Sauté the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp and set aside. -
Cook the Cabbage:
Add chopped cabbage to the skillet. Season with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender but slightly crisp. -
Combine and Serve:
Return sausage and shrimp to the skillet with cabbage. Toss everything together and cook for 2-3 minutes to heat through. -
Garnish:
Top with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for some heat.
- This dish is great served on its own or with a side of rice for a more filling meal.
- Feel free to use any type of sausage you prefer, like chicken sausage or turkey sausage.
