Ingredients

Scale
    1. 2 lbs beef stew meat, cut into bite-sized chunks
    2. 5 tbsp butter, sliced
    3. 1 lb baby yellow potatoes, halved or quartered
    4. 1 tbsp onion powder
    5. 1 tsp garlic powder
    6. 1 tbsp chopped fresh garlic
    7. 2 tsp seasoned salt (adjust to taste)
    8. ½ tsp black pepper
    9. ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
    10. 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
    11. ½ cup beef broth
    12. 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Optional Add-Ins:

    1. ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (for a little heat)
    2. 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary (for extra flavor)

Instructions

  • Prep Ingredients:
Wash and halve the potatoes. Cut beef into bite-sized pieces if not pre-cut.

  • Season Everything:
In a large bowl, toss the beef and potatoes with onion powder, garlic powder, seasoned salt, black pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning (if using).

  • Load the Slow Cooker:
Place half of the butter slices at the bottom of the slow cooker. Add seasoned beef and potatoes, then sprinkle with chopped garlic. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Top with remaining butter slices.

  • Slow Cook:
Cook on LOW for 6–8 hours for extra tenderness or on HIGH for 3–4 hours if short on time. Stir occasionally if possible.

  • Serve & Enjoy:
Garnish with fresh parsley or thyme. Drizzle with extra garlic butter for even more flavor!

Notes

  • You can add extra vegetables like carrots or onions if you like.
  • This recipe works great for meal prep and can be stored in the fridge for 3–4 days.
  • For a bit of heat, try adding the crushed red pepper flakes.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can thicken it with a little cornstarch slurry (mix 1 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water and stir into the sauce at the end).
