Ingredients

Scale
  1. 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or your choice), cut into bite-sized pieces
  2. ½ lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  3. 3 tbsp olive oil
  4. 3 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  5. 4 cloves garlic, minced
  6. 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  7. 1 tsp smoked paprika
  8. 1 tsp garlic powder
  9. 1 tsp onion powder
  10. Salt and pepper to taste
  11. 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  12. Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  • Season the Steak and Shrimp:
In a bowl, season steak bites with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
In another bowl, season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and fresh lemon juice.

  • Cook the Steak Bites:
Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add steak bites in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overcrowd the pan.
Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking.
Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  • Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter.
Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
Remove from the skillet and set aside with the steak bites.

  • Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
    Reduce heat to medium.
Melt the remaining 2 tbsp butter in the same skillet.
Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add a splash of lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet.

  • Combine and Serve:
Return the steak bites and shrimp to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter sauce.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

  • You can substitute the steak for chicken or another protein of your choice.
  • If you want more heat, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter sauce.
  • Serve this dish over pasta, rice, or with a side of vegetables for a complete meal.
